Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
At MagicBly, protecting your personal data is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our website and services, why we process it, on what legal bases, with whom we share it and what rights you can exercise. It has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is MagicBly LLC, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
If you have any questions about this policy or about how we process your data, you can contact us by email at support@magicbly.com or by phone and WhatsApp at +1 251 373 4255, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 (US Mountain Time). Our registration number is available on request.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data: your account information (name, email address, encrypted password), order and billing data (products purchased, billing address, transaction history) and metadata provided by our payment processors (payment status, transaction ID, payment method type).
Where applicable, we also process your newsletter sign-up email address, the content of your correspondence with our customer support team, and technical and usage data (IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed) generated when you browse our site.
As our products are 100% genuine software licences delivered digitally and instantly by email, we do not collect any physical shipping address.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process your data to perform our contract with you: to create and manage your account, process your orders and payments, and deliver your software licences by email (legal basis: performance of a contract).
Some processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, in particular the retention of accounting and tax records (legal basis: legal obligation). Other processing is based on our legitimate interest: securing our website, preventing fraud, improving our services and responding to your support requests.
Sending marketing communications and our newsletter is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
4. Recipients and Processors
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who act as processors on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
These providers include our payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), our email and newsletter provider, our hosting and content delivery network (Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) and our audience-measurement and analytics tools.
We may also disclose your data where required by law or to protect our rights, our security or those of our users.
5. International Data Transfers
As MagicBly LLC and some of our providers are based in the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers take place, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission or other recognised mechanisms, to ensure your data receives a level of protection equivalent to that guaranteed within the European Union. A copy of these safeguards is available on request at support@magicbly.com.
6. Data Retention
We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Account data is retained while your account remains active and is then deleted or anonymised after an extended period of inactivity.
Order and billing data is retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax obligations (generally up to ten years). Newsletter sign-up data is kept until you withdraw your consent, and support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on it.
To exercise any of these rights, please send your request by email to support@magicbly.com. We will respond within the time limits set by the regulation. We may ask you to verify your identity in order to protect your data.
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority in your country of residence.
8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure it works correctly, remember your preferences and measure its audience. You can manage your preferences at any time.
For more details on the cookies we use and how to configure them, please see our Cookie Policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or organisational developments. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
We encourage you to review this page regularly. In the event of a significant change, we may notify you by an appropriate means.
